A highly innovative building situated at the Brenner Pass (1,350 metres above sea level) in the Italian Tyrol, on the Italian/Austrian border. The building forms an extension to Brennero’s High Street, and features a glass wall facade which raises up in the Summer time to reveal a colonnade of

shops. In Brennero’s harsh winter, the facade is lowered to keep the building warm.
The building features a green roof, a biomass boiler, a timber structure made from sustainably managed alpine forests and naturally lit and ventilated shopping malls. Accommodation 19,000 m2 factory outlet in 60 units, plus food & drink. Value €25m, Client Designer Outlet Brennero AG
