This is my entry for the anonymous design competition for the SHELTERS FOR ALL COMPETITION

The design of our permanent shelter / home is as simple as possible, while also meeting the challenges

required to fulfil the needs of the community. Our design is relevant to both its environment, and the social needs of the community, by being both flexible and adaptable. In contrast to some other schemes, which use complex (heavily processed) materials, such as elaborate panelling systems, complex joinery, large span beams (steel /timber), concrete/ concrete blocks and corrugated iron roof sheeting, our design makes use of locally available talent and materials.
